Circa 1930's illustration of the Japanese battleships Katori and Kashima on a 3 sen postage stamp. Katori (香取 (戦艦)) was the lead ship of the two Katori-class pre-dreadnought battleships and was built at Vickers Barrow-in-Furness, UK , the Kashima was the second ship of the class and was built at Armstrong Whitworth, Elswick yard, Newcastle UK. Both were disarmed and scrapped between 1923–1925 in accordance with the terms of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1930年代頃の日本の戦艦 香取 と 鹿島 3銭切手。
