Rainforest aerial walkway. Tourists walking along a path suspended among the trunks of rainforest trees. Rainforests are hot, wet evergreen forests found in the equatorial and tropical regions, where growth is luxuriant and dense. Trees grow to immense heights in search of the sun, forming a canopy over the forest floor, where plant species that tolerate shade and moisture thrive. Rainforests contain a great diversity of plant and animal species. Walkways such as this allow people to observe and study animals and plants that are not easily seen from ground level.
