A beautiful hardy peren- ' nial; with elegant Col- umbine-like foliage and masses of feathery white flowers in June and July; 3 feet IS Dipterocarpum. Though introduced some years ago, this beautiful species is yet but little known. We consider it one of the real gems among hardy plants, not only for the garden but its dainty, graceful sprays of flowers, elegantly arranged on stems 3 to 4 feet high, are invalu- able for cutting; the flowers are of charming shade of violet- mauve, which is brightened by a bunch of lemon-vellow stamens and anther Tritoma (Red-hot Poker, Flame Flower, or Torch Lily) PER PKT. 4330 Hybrida. The introduction of new contin- uous flowering Tritomas has given them a prominent place among hardy bedding plants. It is not generally known that they are readily grown from seed, many flowering the first year if sown early. The seed we offer has been saved from a col- lection, which is undoubtedly one of the finest in this country. Of course for im- mediate results it will be better to get plants, but raising them from seed is highly interesting. J oz., 50 cts $0 LS Tunica 4335 Saxifraga.
