Building 3, the Archeological Excavations at the Great Pyramid of Cholula Mexico. This is the oldest building bordering the Courtyard of the Altars on the right in pic on its western extreme. The large base is built with adobe and limestone covered with stucco and its principal facade faces east. This building like the Great Pyramid of Cholula was built upon several times over the years forming different layers of construction. Two tiers have been determined so far with the first having a base 60 metres long. In the background is the Great Pyramid of Cholula and Nuestra Senora Remedios Church, which sits on it.
