At the meeting of the Boston Flo- rists' Association^ January 4, briefly reported in the last issue of The Re- view, all oi the new officers were in- stalled and wade addresses excejit F. E. Palmer, "treasurer, who was unavoid- ably absent. B. F. Letson, the new jrresident, gave an excellent and thoughtful address, in which he urged the sinking of all jpetty jealousies and differences and the banding together for the common good. He pledged him- self to work hard for the association. It is hoped the new governor of Massa- chusetts will be present at an early meeting. Other good speakers are being arranged for. Each member was urged to bring in a new memoer during February. It was voted to hold the meetings later in the month here- after. There was a good attendance, and 4be opening meeting of the year was jiiost encouraging. Various Notes. The Gardeners' and Florists' Club will meet January 18. Officers for 1921 will be installed, and after the regular business session a collation will be served, followed by dancing. As this is the annual ladies' night, a large at- tendance of tlie fair sex is hoped for. The annual banquet will be held in Horticultural hall February 3, and ^v^ll be of the usual high order. Horticul- tural hall was selected as being more desirable than any of the hotels
