Spain: Woman showing a copy of a stone time spear head called "Excalibur" during a visit in the Sierra de Atapuerca


The Sierra de Atapuerca close to Burgos in norther Spain is nowadays the most important archaeological site. Her were found wide ranges of human and animal bones of different time schedules. Many founds of the Homo heidelbergensis and a very special found of a completely unknown species which was designated "Homo antecessor". The site can be visited with guides who explain all the process of carving and identification and the importance to humanity.
