The Kondo (Main Hall) of the Dai Garan Temple Complex, Part of the Kongobu-ji Temple, Koyasan.


This site forms part of the Headquarters of the Shingon Buddhist Sect in Japan. The Kondo is used for many purposes such as prayer, cultural events, lectures and ceremonies. It servers as the main hall for the town of Koyasan. The building is exterior is freely open to the public without charge.
