SpaceX CRS-10 launch. SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) Falcon 9 rocket lifting off on the CRS-10 mission, carrying a SpaceX Dragon capsule filled with cargo. CRS-10 is one of 12 SpaceX flights contracted by NASA to resupply the International Space Station (ISS). It originated from NASA's COTS (Commercial Orbital Transportation Services) initiative, set up to encourage private companies to ship cargo to the ISS after the retirement of the shuttle program in 2011.
