It was formerly known as 'Corseyard Farm and Model Dairy', near Borgue, Dumfries & Galloway and was originally built by millionaire James Brown for his herd of prize Belted Galloway cows, and to provide work for local was half of the Affleck & Brown partnership, owners of department store in Manchester which was once regarded as the ‘Harrods of the North’. Corseyard Farm was regarded as the most elaborate dairy farm in the world with its unique architecture and rural setting with sea views.
