A large sign stands on a small front lawn next to a driveway that leads to the backyard garage where Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard tinkered in 1938-39. A pilgrimage site for tech geeks. The garage has been designated California Historical Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Not open for public tours.
