A South East European, strongly contoured Bronze Age double axe, 14th - 10th century BC Ceremonial axe with two grooves, each the breadth of a finger, on both sides, the bordering ridges decorated with notches. Upper and lower sides slightly curved in a roof shape with a medial rib and ornamental geometric incisions. The central bore hole descends into a short socket at the bottom. Extremely rare ritual object. Beautiful dark green patina. Length 14 cm.
