Titan Arum Amorphophallus titanum. One of the most spectacular plants in the world with a huge bell shaped flower measuring up to three metres. After flowering the inflorescence is replaced by a large single leaf which grows up to six metres tall and five metres across The smooth glossy stem is green mottled with cream which divides into three at the apex and then subdivides into smaller leaflets The plant originates from the rainforests of Sumatra. This one is growing at Kew Gardens London in the wet tropics zone of the Princess of Wales Conservatory
