Iraq, Baghdad. At the wedding photographer.

It is customary to go to a wedding photographer before a wedding in Iraq. The bride spends a day (or more) at the salon to be prepared for the big day. The photography event is a quick affair and most grooms do not want their brides to be photographed. The wedding party often accompanies the couple and dances in the street outside (mainly the men) to the sounds of drums and trumpet. Once the session is over the couple leave in a decorated car and a caravan of cars honk their horns through the dense traffic.
