The park board, which was iiot in competition, had a float dec- orated with plants. James Boon, super- intendent of Clifton park, under whose supervision it was done, is to be com- mended for a fine piece of work. J. J. Cummings had his attrac- tive float. Mary Johnston had four dec- orated floats. Isaac H. Moss and Wil- liam Price, of the Towson Nurseries, represented the nursery end of the busi- ness, with trucks showing assorted ever- greens. The Florists' Club had a float, not in competition. It represented a large horn of plenty. Other floats in line were those of C. E. Akehurst & Son, Leo Niessen Co., 8. 8. Pennock Co., Sieck & Glick, William F. Keys, Jr., George Eberle and others. The judges were Otto Bauer, C. E. Mayberry and Harry Lewis, of Wash- ington, and Henry Eichholz, of Waynes- boro.
