A Japanese shin gunto for army officers, Showa period, 1935 Blade shinogi-zukuri, chu-kissaki, flat torii-zori. Sugu-ha hamon, o-maru boshi with middle kaeri. Muji hada. Plain kesho finish. Nakago with one mekugi-ana and sujikai-yasurime, inscribed "Okisa Kazumasa Tetsu Kin Saku" (diligently forged of Mongolian steel by Okisa Kazumasa) and "Showa Ju-Nen Haru" (spring 1935). Gilt brass habaki with yasurime. Shingunto koshirae for army officers, part-gilt sakura bronze mountings.
