St Paul's Cathedral, London, England. The ball and cross stand 23 feet high and weigh approximately 7 tons. Although Cockerell replaced the weather- beaten originals with a new ball and cross in 1821, these faithfully follow a drawing of 1708 by William Dickinson, preserved in the cathedral’s archives
