Aberystwyth Wales UK. 20th April, 2013. Over 600 people gathered to encircle Aberystwyth Arts Centre in a silent vigil at mid-day today in support of suspended members of staff, and in protest to perceived threats to the internationally renowned centre following restructuring at Aberystwyth University. Following a Facebook campaign many of the people in the vigil wore red, and some had gags over their mouths, to highlight the alleged 'gagging orders' that have been enforced on members of the centre's staff to prevent them from commenting on the situation.
