Naples has about one million inhabitants. Third Italian centre. The most populous in southern Italy and a population density of 8500 inhabitants per square kilometers. The busines district "Centro Direzionale di Napoli" was designed by Japanese architect Kenzō Tange, the entire complex completed in 1995. It is the first cluster of skyscrapers to have been built in southern Europe.
