Whale Shark at Churaumi Aquarium Okinawa Japan
On the third Monday in July, Japanese celebrate Marine Day, giving thanks for the blessings of the ocean. Some take the day off work to visit aquariums and take part in water sports. Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, has one of the largest tanks in the world, home to three enormous whale sharks, mantas, stingrays and many other fish.
