Van Dun Almshouses, Caxton Street, London, 1852. A bust of the founder, Cornelius van Dun, over the door. Born in the Netherlands, van Dun was a Yeoman of the Guard to Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I. He founded the almshouses for 20 poor women.
