Bust of Cecil John Rhodes (1853–1902) artist JM Swan. Rhodes Memorial on Devil's Peak - Cape Town, South Africa, is a memorial to English-born South African politician Cecil John Rhodes. It was designed by Sir Herbert Baker and the monument has 49 steps - one for each year of Rhodes' life.
