We looked in vain for the traditional systematized leisure,and concluded in despair that times had changed. Our officers for Sophomore year were: President, MabelPalliser; vice-president, Hazel Woodhull; corresponding secretary,.Mabel McCann; recording secretary, Hetty Dean; treasurer, RayWest; historian, Elizabeth Nitchie. The first thing we noticed about Sophomore year was thatit was hard, and that studies seemed to interfere constantlywith our college course. We are glad to be able to statethat our Acting Dean has confirmed our opinion; he has provedconclusively by means of a diagram that Sophomore year is thehardest year in college. To relieve the mental strain causedby History A and English B, we took Physical Ed. at TeachersCollege and disported ourselves scientifically.
