‘Save Our NHS’ rally by the TUC against the government’s controversial Health and Social Care Bill. Central Hall Westminster.

As the government’s controversial Health and Social Care Bill entered its final stages of completion, patients, health workers and campaigners came together to ‘Save Our NHS’. The rally was organised by TUC and took place on Wednesday (7 March 2012) in Westminster. Over 2,000 nurses, doctors, midwives, physiotherapists, managers, paramedics, cleaners and other employees from across the health service joined forces with patients to fill Central Hall Westminster. The event consisted of speeches from politicians, fellow health workers, union leaders and health service users.
