A replica of Roger Williamson's 1972 F3 GRD Holbay-Ford, as entered by Tom Wheatcroft which Roger Williamson drove during the 1972 season, winning two of the three British Formula Three Championships, and taking part in numerous European Formula Three races. Roger Williamson was a talented local, supported by Tom Wheatcroft, but lost his life in his 2nd F1 race, at Zandvoort.

This car was built up by GRD for presentation to the then yet to be opened Donington Grand Prix Collection, and was presented to Tom Wheatcroft at the 1973 Racing Car Show at Olympia, London. After his Formula One debut at the 1973 British Grand Prix, for the MARCH F1 team, Williamson's second Formula One appearance was at the 1973 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort Circuit. On his eighth lap, a suspected tyre failure caused his car to flip upside down and catch fire. Williamson had not been seriously injured by the impact, but was trapped under the car which was swiftly engulfed in flame. The Donington museum closed Nov 5th 2018
