Design for a Mantelpiece. Research in ProgressThe design is a variation of that of the left half of 1938-88-8209. Woven intertwined bands are in the oblongs of the inner frame. A garland is sketched in the oblong of the pilaster at left. Ram heads with festoons serve as capitals.
