An Illyrian helmet, 6th century Bronze with greenish patina. Spherical skull with a threefold contoured crest base, a hook for attaching the crest on the forehaed. Rectangular face cutout, the pointed cheek pieces with perforation for the chin strap. Slightly curved neck-guard. Two chased decorative lines above the face cutout, the perimeter surrounded by a raised border and a line of decorative rivets. Height 22 cm.
