Buddhist devotees, monks, and initiates exiting from the ancient Buddhist monastery following a religious meeting and gathering. The men, women, and children are all dressed in their best costumes which are also quite colourful. Some are also wearing traditional Yak hair hats of the Monpa tribe. In the photograph we view the front facade of the 17th Century monastery. The shot was taken late morning.
