Grenada is one of the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles with a wet tropical climate and lush rain forest. It is well known as "Island of Spice" because a lot of spices especially nutmeg growing very well on the rich volcanic soil of the 344 square kilometers of the island. Grenada delivers 20 per cent of nutmeg of the world. Another important agricultural product is cocoa bean for chocolate production.
