Coast Banksia or Coastal Banksia, Banksia integrifolia subsp. monticola, Proteaceae, Eastern Australia. Other common names are Honeysuckle, White Banksia, White Bottlebrush and White Honeysuckle and some older sources refer to it as Honeysuckle Oak. The Gunai people of Gippsland (Indigenous Australians) called it Birrna. It grows along the east coast of Australia between Victoria and Central Queensland in a broad range of habitats, from coastal dunes to mountains.
