The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, originally known as Mount Tomah Botanical Garden, is a 28-hectare public botanic garden located approximately 100 kilometers west of the Sydney central business district, The Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. A Brown Barrel Tree- Eucalyptus Fastigata. Found in cooler areas of south-eastern Australia with high rainfall and fertile soils. Indigenous to Mount Tomah and a key species in the Blue Mountains Basalt Forest ecological community. A popular construction timber.
