Kelp seaweed (Laminaria digitata) on rocks at low tide. This seaweed is also known as devil's apron and oarweed. Products such as ice cream, toothpaste, bread, beer and make-up contain extracts of kelp seaweed. It is also used in the production of iodine and fertilisers.
