Photojournalism from June 30th public sector strike march through London against proposed public sector pension changes.

Photojournalism from the main march through central London on June 30th, the day of widespread public sector strikes across the country, mainly in protest against proposed public sector pension changes. Despite rumors that Black Block anarchists intended to cause violence, there was no serious disorder. Several arrests were made before and during the protest which seemed to prevent a large majority of the violence. Anarchists were still present, but despite some buildings being considered as targets, the day ended with a sit-down protest on Whitehall. Eventually police moved protesters. Trade unions also held rallies after the protest in central London.
