19th c. hand-painted Victorian illustration of Divi-divi / Caesalpinia coriaria, Valonia / Quercus aegilops & Pipi pods / Caesalpinia papai. See notes

Plate 12: (59) Divi-divi [seed-pods of Caesalpinia coriaria syn. Libidibia glabrata] (60) Valonia [Quercus aegilops] (61) Camata [Quercus aegilops] (62) Camatina [Quercus aegilops] (63) Pipi [pods of Caesalpinia paipai syn.] - Sourced from Popular Economic Botany by Thomas Croxen Archer. Pub. Reeve & Co., London. 1858. So no longer in copyright. - Pages of book are foxed (tinted yellow-orange with age) so some desaturation has been applied and levels boosted to lighten. Patina /texture of page and paper fibre still exists should you want this rather than pure white b/ground. Bad paper stains and some printing ink blobs have been removed though there are some very minor paper flecks embedded here and there.
