Coppiced willow within Madingley's 800 wood. The 800 Wood has been planted to commemorate the University’s 800th Anniversary, covering 10ha of former arable land off Cambridge Road, Madingley, between the American Cemetery and the A14. The Wood joins up with Madingley Wood, an ancient woodland which has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
