The elephant head vase Sèvres Manufactory by Jean Claude Duplessis 1758 Ceramic 38 cm France French

The elephant head vases were among the most unusual and original of the vase models produced at Sèvres. Due to their cost of production, relatively few of these vases were made, and only twenty-two appear to have survived to the present day.
