Broad Street, Birmingham July 11th 2021 Fans tussled with each other after England crashed out of the Euro 2020 final with Italy who won at penalties, making it 56 years of hurt. The fans spilled out of pubs and bars onto Broad Street in Birmingham city centre as police formed lines. Many fans looked downhearted, one woman looked lost as she walked through fountains. A smoke grenade was also launched as police tried to calm supporters down although one England kit wearing fan waved a vodka bottle in the air before police threatened to use gas if he didn’t drop it. The man was then detained.
