ROLLER ( Coracias garrulus) VERY RARE MIGRANT BIRD. WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE UK IN 2012


This rare summer migrant first appeared on Spurn peninsula on 29th May 2012 and then moved on to Aldbrough Yorkshire (just a few miles North. So colourful is this bird (about the size of a Jackdaw) that even the locals are coming to have a look at it.
