Europe, Italy, Liguria, The caves of Toirano, in the province of Savona, is a complex of karst cavities, particularly known for the variety of shapes of stalactites and stalagmites, for their extension, the tourist route over one kilometer long, for discovery of traces of homo sapiens by more than 12,000 years ago and remains of ursus spelaeus about 25,000 years old.
