Lumber wagon test conducted by the Chemical Warfare Service during World War One. The test involved dropping canisters 9030 times through a one-inch distance, at a rate of 75 drops per minute. Four different positions were tested: canisters loosely assembled upside down, right side up, flat side up, and with the narrow side facing down. Test aimed to study the effect of mixtures and position on the springs inside the canisters. Description number: 54505.
