Berlin's Botanical Garden. Double title pages of the work 'Icones Plantarum Rariorum Horti Regii Botanici Berolinensis' (1828), by the German naturalists Johann Heinrich Friedrich Link (1767-1851) and Christoph Friedrich Otto (1783-1856). The details are given in Latin at left and German at right. The title translates as 'Illustrations of rare plants in the Botanical Garden in Berlin'. Link was director of these gardens from 1815 to 1851, and Otto was inspector at the gardens from 1805 to 1843.
