Alegria (happiness) is a mixture of amaranth, nuts and honey or molasses. Amaranth is a Mexican food used by the Aztecs. Today mainly the seeds are used, puffed up like pop corn. Like in this picture, Amaranth is often mixed with honey and formed into round cookies. Isolated on Isolated on white background.
