The Winder River Indian Reservation is home to much drilling, mining, and chemical processing.


Land that was once owned by Mark Soldier Wolf and his family, then contaminated by the radioactive tailings from urinium mines, now houses a surfuric acid plant and is surrounded by barbed wire and no-tresspassing signs.
