KEFR SABA [Kafr Saba now Kfar Saba]. A straggling village consisting of houses built chiefly of sun-dried bricks, with extensive orchards to the west and south of it. It is fourteen miles from Jaffa, and is interesting inasmuch as it preserves the name of the ancient Caphar Saba Wood engraving of from 'Picturesque Palestine, Sinai and Egypt' by Wilson, Charles William, Sir, 1836-1905; Lane-Poole, Stanley, 1854-1931 Volume 3.
