Ripened Cock's Foot Grass Dactylis glomerata

Rogers Parker first collected the seeds, and the grass was developed by Coke Of Norfolk, the Agricultural Reformer. The grass has a high sugar content and is therefore sweet. Good for animal feed and hay. It is also a food plant for several butterflies.
