TORREVECCHIA PIA, ITALY: A SPRITELY kingfisher has been snapped having the time of its life frolicking in cool water. Diving into the refreshing water in a blue and orange flash of colour, this magnificent little birdy proves good things really do come in small packages. Other pictures show the victorious flyer emerge with some yummy fishy treats to be devoured whole. Photographer Riccardo Trevisani (52) took great pleasure in capturing these uplifting shots in Torrevecchia Pia, Pavia, Italy.
