A turquoise-embellished sabre for an Hungarian magnate, 19th century Heavy single-edged blade of Damascus steel with a gold-inlaid, pseudo-islamic inscription and dating "1134" (= 1721) on the obverse. The other side with crescent moon and stars. Floral engraved grip made of nickel silver adorned with turquoise cabochons. Wooden scabbard, leather-covered in the midsection, with en suite engraved und turquoise fitted mountings made of nickel silver. Two suspension rings with moveable loops.
