World War I era military print of a man operating a rivet gun.

This 20th century military history print features a man operating a rivet gun against the backdrop of a soldier’s silhouette in the background and a caption ‘Rivets are Bayonets, Drive them Home!’ The print is suggestive of the concept that work undertaken by factories in support of the war was as important as the work carried out by soldiers on the battlefield. Artwork by John E. Sheridan, 1917.
