Smokey Bear Grave


Capitan, New Mexico - The grave of Smokey Bear in the Smokey Bear Historical Park. The bear became a symbol of the Forest Service's fire prevention efforts after he was found, badly burned, after a forest fire in the nearby Capitan Mountains in 1950.
