Shanghai's Nanjing Road is the busiest commercial street in all of China, but it's eerily empty the night before Shanghai city initiates the lockdown.
The night before Shanghai locked down the entire city, I managed to go to the Nanjing Road to photograph the pedestrian section. I have never seen Nanjing Rd so empty and stores closed.
