Yellow insect traps are plastic sheets coated on each side with a sticky non-drying glue-like substance on which greenhouse whitefly and other pests fly on to and become permanently attached, having been attracted by the colour of the card. Very effective, as you can see by the thousands of white and black fly on these cards which are hanging in these tomato plants
